AHC
Trains the Staff of the Free Advocacy Service
 In
order to increase the quality of AHC’s services
to the public in general and to victims of human
rights violations in particular by state
administration representatives, victims of abuse
of power in particular, AHC organized the
training of its lawyers, some observers, and
students of the Law School that are AHC
activists.
The training course offered
practical information and skills regarding the
specifics of free legal service in the courts,
difficulties in offering such service, ways to
manage para-legal and legal assistance. The
practical experience of organizing free legal
services was offered by experts of the Tirana
Legal Aid Service (TLAS).
The training course took place on
June 1, 2007, in the context of the project “For
better protection of human rights violations
victims in Albania”, financially supported by
the Swedish Helsinki Committee.
