“The Execution of Penal
Decisions (Problems in Albanian Law and its Practice)”
Dear Colleagues,
The Albanian Helsinki Committee has carried out a study on the legislation and the practice regarding the execution of penal decisions during the year 2002 in the Tirana and Durrės Districts, which has been published recently.
In this publication, You will find an analysis of the Albanian legislation on the execution of penal decisions that foresee imprisonment and other penal punishments, and recommendations for the improvement of the legislation and the practice of the execution of these penal decisions. A part of this study is the conclusions which resulted from the study of the practice of the execution of penal
decisions during the year 2002 P in Tirana and Durrės Districts.
This study and its publication has been carried out in the framework of the Albanian Coalition AgainstCorruption with the financial support of MSI-USAID.
The publication “The Execution of Penal Decisions (Problems in Albanian Law and its Practice)” is in Albanian and English Language.
