Study
on the national strategy for Roma education
In the context of the project, “Promoting the Rights of
Minorities and Enhancing intercommunity Understanding in SEE”, regionally
coordinated by the Association for Democratic initiatives, the AHC took the
initiative and realized a study on the implementation of the national strategy
for “The improvement of living conditions of the Roma minority,” regarding
education in the districts of Tiranë and Fier.
The AHC correspondent in Fier and the AHC staff in Tiranë held
meetings with representatives of local government authorities, Roma
organizations, and the community.
Based on the findings of the study, the AHC sent a letter to
Mr. Genc Pollo, Minister of Education and Science.
